As home inspectors, we come across many photos with a high creep factor, and we save most of them for this time of year. Enjoy!
Snakes in the crawlspace.
Dead squirrel. High-stakes chimney Jenga gone wrong.
Mouse remains after it got into a wall outlet. This is why we need cover plates.
Squirrel remains. Same problem.
We caught this squirrel spying on us.
Squirrel tail?
Chimney surprise.
More bird parts found on the roof.
This curious cat loved getting in our way.
This cat had no regard for clearance to combustibles.
It’s always creepy to find this stuff in a crawlspace.
And creepy to find it in the well room.
Old dolls are creepy. It’s their dead eyes.
Lone doll heads used as finials are creepy too.
Okay, this is more nasty than creepy. But still. Check out that whole-house humidifier.
This is pretty nasty too. All of this gunk came out of the jets when we operated the tub.
This was unintentionally creepy. I refuse to explain why.
Dead mice in the washing machine.
Rabbit’s feet are lucky. Heads are not.
Raccoon moon.
This sewer cleanout has been leaking for a long time, creating a scene straight out of Stranger Things.
This frog found a warm, moist home inside the furnace vent. And he’s getting very sleepy. Carbon monoxide will do that.
All that black stuff? Bat droppings.
More bats. Different house.
This bat was very confused, walking around on the ground. That’s rabid behavior.
And we’re pretty sure we caught a raccoon hiding under the solar panels.
