Detailed Inspections

A typical home inspection conducted by our experienced team takes about 4 hours, depending on the size and condition of the property. Throughout this process, we thoroughly examine all accessible areas, including the structure, foundation, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, roof, and more. Additionally, we encourage our clients to ask questions throughout the inspection walk-through, as we believe in fostering understanding and providing valuable education about homeownership and maintenance.

Comprehensive Reports

Recognizing the importance of clear and concise reporting, our inspectors document their findings using state-of-the-art technology, including digital photos, diagrams, and illustrations. We compile these visual aids and detailed descriptions into a comprehensive inspection report that serves as a valuable reference for understanding the property’s condition. Moreover, you can easily access our reports online and download them in PDF format.

Transparent and Educative

Firmly believing that an informed client is a satisfied client, we go the extra mile to ensure you understand the implications of our findings. Specifically, by providing explanations, recommendations, and relevant links to additional information on our website, we facilitate your understanding of major issues and, in turn, delve into the nuances of building science. Furthermore, our inspectors are well-equipped to cater to your specific needs.

Exhaust fans tested and verified? πŸš«βœ…We test all exhaust fans and verify airflow at the exterior.

Detailed testing of AC?πŸš«βœ…We ensure air conditioners are removing the right amount of heat.
Whole-house ventilation systems inspected? πŸš«βœ…Air exchangers are excluded by home inspection standards. We inspect them.

Moisture Testing Release Form

  • Moisture Testing Release Form *

This form must be completed and signed prior to us conducting any moisture testing. We cannot perform the moisture testing requested by the buyers without this form being signed.

Please call if you have any questions.

Structure Tech specializes in the moisture testing of buildings for the purpose of determining if there is moisture located behind the exterior wall cladding. A moisture inspection of your property has been requested.

In order to perform this inspection, we need the permission of the owner. We should have access to all parts of the exterior. Any security systems will need to be shut off during the testing, which can take several hours. We use standard industry practices for conducting the moisture tests, which includes the use of a penetrating probe meter to verify the moisture content of the structural wood and sheathing of the building. 3/16” holes will be placed under most windows and other possible moisture entry areas. These holes will be filled with caulk when the testing is completed.

We will make every effort to use a caulk that closely matches the color of the surrounding siding; however in some cases the holes may be noticeable upon close inspection. If the holes are of any cosmetic concern the property owner can have them painted with a matching paint.

I understand the above information and give my permission to test the building located at:
